The Club Captains and Vice Captains of Griffith Swimming Club are elected at the end of each year by their peers.  The Club Captains and Vice Captain for 2023 are:-

Role of the Club Captains

·      Captains must demonstrate exemplary behaviour and act as role models for the younger members of the club

·      Assist new swimmer in the club

·      Assist with the setup of marshalling area chairs and pool dive blocks

·      Assist officials within the Marshalling Area to maintain order

·      Where possible assist with preparing equipment for Point-score evenings

·      Assist with packing away and storing of Point-score equipment 

·      Encourage team spirit amongst all swimmers and encourage them to participate in a sporting manner
