Official and Qualifying Time Trials

The club will schedule Time Qualifying or Official Time Trials during the season, this will allow for swimmers who are aiming to achieve a qualifying time for an upcoming Country, State or National Championship.

Officials at qualifying nights will disqualify swimmers for incorrect starts, strokes, turns and finishes. The support of ALL GRIFFITH SWIMMING CLUB members is required on Qualifying and Official nights, with two or three time keepers to each lane.

It is important that time keepers are not distracted while time keeping.  If a time keeper misses a time, it may mean that the swimmer misses out on receiving a qualifying time for a Country, State or National Championship.

If a swimmer is needing an official time to be recorded when a Qualifying or Official Time Trial is not scheduled please refer to the Special Circumstance Qualifying Meet Policy
